Giada's Chest Explodes Buttons Off Shirt In the Early Days
These days you can't turn on Food Network without getting a little cleavage action, be it from Giada De Laurentiis, Anne Burrell, or Mario Batali.
An although Giada seemed pretty comfortable displaying it on her original Food network show Everyday Italian, apparently an early-on wardrobe malfunction embarrassed her enough to stop wearing button-up shirts and switch to the more comfy tees you see above.
"This was awhile ago, I think during the second season of 'Everyday Italian,' and we were trying to figure out the wardrobe for the show. I was wearing this pretty tight button-down shirt and I bent down -- in those days the oven was down low, below the stove -- to grab my roast out of the oven and all the buttons on my shirt just popped open. Everything opened up. I was so incredibly humiliated that I went running to the bathroom."
Yikes! Better to just have it out there in the first place than deal with those pesky button-popping incidences!
Whatever, G. I think you look great in what-ever. And I'm with you on comfort. I'm wearing a V-neck right now, too. Now let me go confidently bend down in front of my oven...

I don' enjoy seeing the cleavage. I just assumed the network did it for ratings... so sad that they have to stoop to that level. Giada is talented- she does not have to rely on her physical assets to get ratings...
I think Giada needs to get her roots touched up. Last weeks they wee really starting to be obvious.

Gia-DUH is a total bimbo and never has an original thought in her pumpin head of hers. In her early Foodnetwork days, she always claimed to be shy and not comfortable in front of the cameras ... ah right. And I have bridge to sell in Brooklyn.
Lately giada is acting a little stupind on the show. She ends up her sentences with a singing effect that is so annoying. Funny that when she was a judge on next food network star that is the same thing she advised against.
Poor Giada. I can't wear button-downs for much the same reason.
Mario cleavage = HOT.
Oh come on guys and gal, Giada is a wonderful cook and so nice to watch. I love her! and cook many of her shows foods.

Giada is a great cook. However,if I have to hear her say "here we go" or "there we go" after each step in her cooking process, I will just throw up. I think she is totally unaware of how many times she says this...in fact, 10 times in one episode...pay attention, watch, and see!!!!
Giada's need to expose her cleavage seriously distracts from her being considered a serious cook. Her use of her mother's maiden name & wardrobe on top makes me think she isn't. Plus she seems to be copying Ina Garten these days with her show from her home and her saying "OK" after each task with the same inflection. But she will never be the cook that Ina is. Food Network has seriously gone downhill. Bobby & Ina are the only two good ones left.
